Yes, I survived my three day work weekend. I spent two of those days working my 12 hour shifts without a break. Yes, no break at all and one day I worked over almost 30 minutes. I lost another pound because of it. Yea..no. If you want to know the perfect diet, nursing is the way for you to go. Nursing is trying to kill me. Overall though, it wasn't that bad and really, really like the weekend crew.
I've spent most of my last two days scrambling around trying to find a new location for next month's trip, since we can't go to the oil-invested gulf. I think I've decided on Tybee Island, which is 20 minutes outside of Savannah, in Georgia. We have two really promising locations. I wished we had more options, but it looks like we need to make that decision quickly. I have sat in front of this computer far more than I would have liked to on my days off.
All I can think about is going away and laying on a beach. It makes it really hard to be productive. My poor house is begging for me to clean it. I prefer running errands and daydreaming about a trip that is over a month away.
Have I mentioned how much I love my job? Going to Hendersonville was such a good choice!! Weight loss or not, I am so glad that I made the decision to come there. I feel like everything has clicked into place now. Next up, management in the next five years. What!? I'm on the fast track, people. I have future children to think about. I'm sure they don't want their momma working until 1:00 A.M.
